Today’s guest on the Digital Adoption Show is Verizon’s Vice President of Learning & Development,
Lou Tedrick. Lou will address several unspoken concerns, such as How to Develop a Superb Learning Strategy to Prepare Organizations for the Future of Work.

The way we work is undergoing a huge change right now. Human labor and employment are being replaced by automation and “thinking machines,” and the skills that businesses value in their staff are changing as a result. These seismic transformations provide significant organizational, personnel, and HR challenges at a time when company leaders are already coping with unprecedented risks, disruption, and political and societal upheaval.

Lou is a human resources specialist with in-depth knowledge of employee relations, learning, and development, as well as organizational development. Lou is in charge of overseeing learning and development opportunities across the entire Verizon organization, including leadership development, product training, CS and sales skill training (for both consumer and business channels), HR/compliance training, IT technical training, tuition reimbursement, and L&D operations monitoring and analytics. Lou oversees a virtual staff of more than 900 learning specialists from all over the world.

Verizon has been among the BEST for six years in a row and was ranked #11 in the 2019 ATD BEST under her direction.
