A twisted version of the Will Smith quote goes like this. We spend way to much time learning stuff that does not matter, trying to understand stuff that we do not like, to end up like people we do not relate to!
From when we were kids, many of us dread anything to do with most kinds of training. It reminded us of school. And rote learning. Where half of what we learned, we never understood. And the part that we understood - we never used.
And yet we expect our employees to learn continuously, our customers to remember all their training, and our organizations to fund both!
